Only True Mustang Wheels Complete the Look of a Muscle Car

It doesn't really matter what kind of muscle car you have, throwing a set of Mustang wheels on that bad boy will most definitely boost the eye popping affect you will get when you cruise through your town. Nothing looks better than a car sitting on a set of custom GT rims with a set of high performance, low profile tires shined to perfection.

One of the best looking cars to ever grace the streets of any town in the good'ole U.S.A., was, is, and probably always will be a 2000-2004 Mustang GT, with factory wheels. Never put anything else on a Mustang. Putting a GT on 24" rims takes absolutely all the cars' street cred' and throws it out the window. Not to mention the fact you may as well take the deep growling v-8 out and install yourself a 4 cylinder, because there is no use having a GT if it cannot be driven hard, and you can't drive a mustang hard if it has those huge, cumbersome wheels that prevent hard cornering and have no handling what-so-ever.

There are several different types of Mustang wheels that will improve the look of your ride. The Saleen Mustangs have wheels that always stand out above the rest. Of course they should stand out, because the Saleen Mustang itself is a pretty awesome ride.

The next best Mustang wheels to consider for your muscle car, in order to make it have that mean, 'come-git-u-sum' look, is most definitely the factory 02'-03' wheels. They come in different colors besides the factory grey you see on most all GTs from that era. Matte black, chrome and Anthracite are just a few. They each look great and wrapped in some low profile rubber; these rims will have your muscle car looking tight as can be.

Mustang wheels have always been a statement to American muscle cars and represent the power setting under the hood. The wheels that came factory on the 85'-86' Mustangs displayed that representation of power like no other. These rims will make your muscle car look like it's doing 75mph while it is sitting in your driveway!

1987, 88 and 89 mustang wheels give the deep dish look, along with a spoke appearance. They really are a unique wheel and when the rear tires are smoking during a burn out, they almost seem to be not moving at all. These rims will look great on any car. Period.

Whichever mustang wheels you look at, don't forget to add on some custom "GT" lug nut covers and valve stem caps. It really sets them off. Also think about wheel sizes too. Putting a set of staggered wheels on the car will really set the mean look off right. To stagger the mustang wheels, put a set of 17x9s on front with a pair of 275/40s HTR Zs for the rubber. On the rear, make them slightly wider, 17x10.5s and wrap those with some HTR Zs 315/35s.
